TCO calculations based on input from customers and topics show quite dramatic savings in costs for IT operations, often between 40% and 70%. This is mainly due to two factors:

1. The investment in thin clients is lower than that of PCs and often thin clients have a life cycle twice as long as a PC’s.
2. The most important cost savings come from operating itself. With a stable and simple workstation and a powerful software solution, the time required to service the thin client is significantly reduced. A significant reduction of time and resources in an IT operating organization equals savings.
